He married Mary Peterson Jan. 4, 1937, in the Manti LDS Temple. She died March 27, 1941. He married Grace Larsen April 29, 1942, in the Manti LDS Temple. He lived in Ephraim all of his life. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He was a farmer and turkey grower. He was Chief of Security at Snow College and retired in 1980. He was good with animals and was a masterful gardener. His sweet corn clientele will miss his August harvest. He faced trials in his life with unusual courage and determination. His underlying premise of life was his work ethis, if it could be accomplished by hard work, he could do it. He had a way of endearing himself to people.
