Show Delegates to attend Girls State MT. PLEASANT Four local girls have been selected to attend Girls State at Cedar City June They are Linda Carnesi, Alena Krouth, Alana Bynum, and Lisa Jorgensen. Tammy Bigler was chosen as alternate. Miss Carnesi, daughter of Thomas Carnesi Jr. and Terry Mahoney, is active in speech, drama and attended the State Forensics Meet. She has been a member of the Spiriteers for 2 years, and has also participated in drama and business vocational meets. She took part in the school musical, and is a member of the rodeo and ski clubs. Miss Krouth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Krouth. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and has traveled throughout the United States and Eastern Canada. She has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past two years, drill team, high school volley ball and track and church basketball teams. She took part in the 1980 school musical The Sound of had a leading role in the Music, church road show, and helped with the childrens reading program at Mt. Pleasant Library last year. Miss Bynum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bynum, has been with the drill team three years. She plays basketball, track and field and is in the ski club. She is vice president of her junior class, secretary of the Rodeo club, and member of the National Honor Society, Riding 19, May Club, and business teaip. She was and Mrs. John A. Bigler.
