For years, people have complained about too 'much commercialism at Christmas, yet they kept supporting it because it was easy. This year, people are still buying gifts, but more prac-- , tical ones, or they are going back to the ways of their parents and grandparents and using their talents to make gifts for family and friends. Because they are giving of their love, talents and time, they will have a great sense of accomplishment and a real feeling of the Spirit of Christmas. Mary and her husband, leader charge for council on the district 'recognition the Cub Scouts. The Nelson's are not TV enthusiasts. They feel that by not watching TV, it frees their time for more creative endeavors and for other things they enjoy doing. Some of the things that Mary enjoys are playing the paino, reading, decoupage and plaster painting. Mary is giving us her special holiday recipes today so that we can try them and share them with our loved ones too.
