She was a member of the LDS Church where she had taught Relief Society and was a visiting teacher for many years. William Joseph Edwards Jr., 75, of 383 S. 750 E., Clearfield, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1985 at his home of complications of diabetes. HE WAS born June 17, 1910, in Hooper, a son of William Joseph and Alice Kirkman Edwards Sr. He married Tessie Woolsey Aug. 17, 1927 in Farmington. SHE WAS a charter member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers West Weber Camp. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Lisle R. Green, Riverside, Calif.; Max C. Carmel, Kane County, a daughter of George William and Mary Elizabeth Hoyt Hicks. She married Ammon Green Jr. Sept. 2, 1914 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 31, 1936. SHE TAUGHT school from 1910 to 1912, and had worked with the school lunch program. She had also worked for Hill Air Force Base during World War II. She was reared in Orderville, Utah, and lived in West Weber from 1914 to 1932, then moved to Clearfield. She has resided in Syracuse since 1982. Talbot, Layton, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1985 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in 10, 1902, in She married Ray John Dawson SHE HAD been a school teacher for the Davis County Schools. She was reared in Syracuse and had lived most of her life in Layton. SHE ATTENDED Davis County Schools in Syracuse and the BYU Academy in Logan. She was an active member of the Layton 16th Ward where she had served on the Primary stake board. She had been active in the Relief Society; she had also served as a Sunday School teacher and MIA president. She was active in other various church activities. William Thompson William Blaine Thompson, 71 , of Layton, died Friday, Nov. 22, 1985 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of cancer. HE WAS born July 26, 1914 in Garland, the son of James Joseph and Mary Lucetta Shumway Thompson. Mr. Thompson married Geniel Brough Welling May 29, 1946, in the Logan LDS Temple. HE WAS a Garland native, educated at Bear River High School. He was in the U.S. Army and Air Force from 1941-6He served in many locations in the United States and abroad, and enjoyed traveling and meeting people. IN 1963 he retired from the U.S. Air Force and returned to Utah to live in Garland. He moved to Ogden in 1971 and to Layton in 1972. He was a High Priest in the Layton 7th Ward and had served in many church capacities in many locations around the world.
