He lived in Burbank, Calif., area for 26 years, and in Utah the past 16 Ielen Day Page, both of Kaysville; Mrs. Myrna Day Burgoyne, American Fork and Mrs. Rebecca Day Fuhriman of Beaverton, Ore. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a member of AFL-CI- O Union in Burbank. SURVIVING are his widow of Kaysville, one son and one daughter, Claude M. Thomas, Mrs. Van Layton, eight grandchildren and 10 n. Funeral services were held a.m. in the Tuesday, June 5, at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary 1 1 Chapel with Rev. THOMAS Claude Asa Thomas, 83, of 514 N. 300 W., Kaysville, died Friday, June 1, 1984 at the Clearfield Nursing Home of causes incident to age. JILL VOSS and Diann Fryer sang a Medley of Songs. THOMAS was born Nov. 20, 1900 in Mondamin, Iowa, a son of John Marshall and Clara Louise McBride Thomas. He married Mildred Irene Bran-dri- lf Feb. 15, 1923 in Logan, Iowa. PALLBEARERS were Cary Voss, Randy Voss, Theron Gavin, Michael A. Thomas, Kelly C. Thomas and Steven Ames. Ora Bernice Ward Milton Day of 17 N. Talbot Drive, Layton, died Saturday, HE HAD lived in Layton for 38 years and in Salt Lake City and Murray for 41 years. He attended Davis High School. HE WAS a retired dairyman. He had worked for Ellison Ranching Company and the Layton Sugar Company. He was a High Priest in the Layton 16th Ward. PALLBEARERS were Gary Day, Craig Day, Kurt Day, Mike Talbot, Steven Talbot and Lincoln Talbot. Flowers were cared for by the Layton 16th Ward Relief Society. June 2, 1984 in the Humana Hospital Davis North of heart failure. HE WAS born Nov. 4, 1905 in Layton, a son of Orson and Ruth Ann Barnes Day. On Nov. 4, 1931 he married Lona Talbot in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Howard Hedden SHE WAS born Oct. 18, 1912, in Brigham City, a daughter of Oluf Howard Levi Hedden, 89, of Centerville, formerly of Layton, died May 31, 1984 at Bountiful. HE WAS bom July 2, 1894 in Idaho, son of Solemon Griffin and Parthenia Eleanor Baker Hedden. He married Mary Ellen Cassity, Dec. 11, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 16, 1979. He was an ordinance worker in the Oakland LDS Temple. HE IS survived by a son and H Dale and Sara daughter-in-laHedden, Centerville; grandchildren, Karen L. Hedden, Michael D. Hedden, Mark S. Hedden, Christensen. She married Clarence G. Ward on May 5, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple. SHE WORKED at the Primary Childrens Hospital and taught 8'2 years in the Box Elder County Elementary School. She worked one year at Bushnell General Hospital. She worked 23 years at Hill Air Force Base and retired as an inventory management specialist in 1973. She was a member of the LDS Clearfield 1 st Ward. She was president of the YWMIA, served in the Relief Society Presidency, was a Sunday School teacher, Cub Scout den mother, genealogy representative. music chorister. SHE HAD been magazine representative in ward and stake, typist in the Ogden LDS Temple, had worked in the German extractor program and was a ward librarian Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Clearfield 1st Ward Chapel with Bishop John Ross officiating. Ross; organ medley, Ward; speakers, Terry Ward No-ree- and nursery leader. She served many years in community service as captain of the Heart Fund, and several other charitable drives.
