The bridegroom is the son of Dave and Meryl Deveraux of Idaho Falls, Id., and Dean C. Ekstrom of Salt Lake City, The reception was held at the Trade Winds Motel in Lake Tahoe, Calif. THE BRIDE wore a lavender-pin- k linen suit and her bouquet was of pink daisies and white carnations. Karen L. Hedden, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. THE BRIDES mother wore a green silk dress with a white jacket. Michael D. Heddon, brother of the bride, was best man. MR. AND MRS. DON EKSTROM Kathryn Mary Hedden and Don C. Ekstrom were married January 28, 1984 by the Rev. William M. Duckroo at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. THE BRIDE is the daughter of FOLLOWING a honeymoon stay in Lake Tahoe, Calif., the couple will make their home in Seaside, Calif. The bride graduated from Woods Cross High in 1980. Naisbitt in ceremonies Friday, June 8 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple with Pres. Cul-li- n Jones, 2nd counselor in the temple presidency officiating. On the third Saturday of each month, the Kaysville American Legion Elmer Criddle Post 82 conduct a newspaper and scrap aluminum drive for the entire communi-tie- s of both Kaysville-Frui- t Heights. THE LEGIONAIRES drive the trucks to pick up the papers and scrap aluminum that the citizens collect for them as a fund raising project. This money is used for the various civic projects sponsored by the American Legion such as Boys State. BOYS STATE is a program where the leaders of the youth who are juniors at the local high school are selected to attend the annual Boys State convention at the USU campus in Logan and learn more about the proper procedures of American government. Seven boys from Davis High School attended Boys State June 3-- 9. IT IS through the assistance of the public that this is made possible and this is only one of the wonderful programs the Legionaries sponsor during the year. Money is also used for projects at the Veterans Hospital, essay contests in the schools, the upkeep of the American Legion Hall and its utility bills, etc. The Legionaires ask that you place your newspapers and scrap aluminum at the curb on Saturday, June 16.
