Texas for the holidays and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Graham and family. While there they attended a Branch Conference. Richard is the district president. They enjoyed many of the interesting places there and on the way and especially a trip into Old Mexico. They found many places of interest in Mexico and enjoyed shopping and Francis and their family have been visiting during the Holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Willis Mower. James Mower recovering Ruel Mower is home and doing well after undergoing surgery last week in the Sanpete LDS Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. (Julie) Peterson and family. The Petersons welcomed a new baby girl on December 6 and have named her Amy. Mrs. slowly Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barton were pleasantly surprised last week when their nephew, John L. Mower who just returned from Honolulu where he was stationed with the Navy stopped by to visit them. He was enroute to Talmadge where he spent some time with his mother, Mrs. Vera Birch, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Shelley enjoyed spending the Holidays in Albuquerque, New Mexico and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Nyle, Mr. and is the Veterans in Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mower has been spending much of her time visiting with Mr. Mower and staying with Gloria and Charles Vincent in Provo. there. before leaving for Orlando, Florida where he will continue his assignment with the Navy. Nanette Day who has been attending BYU is also home visiting her family. Christmas in Bountiful at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Ora) Watson and family. That evening they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Verl Jensen and family of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Shelley and family of Sunset and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Cox and Mike of Salt Lake City for a family dinner. On Christmas day Mr. and Mrs. Cox were dinner guests at the home of Wayne and Penny Mower in Salt Lake Mr. and Mrs. Harold Erickson entertained at a dinner party on December 27. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ferald Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jenson of Ephraim and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barton. City. On Wednesday Sandra and Ned Shelley and their children came to Fairview and stayed until Saturday visiting with the Coxes. Janis and Karl Christensen and their children have moved into their beautiful new home on the east side of Fairview. They have a beautiful view of the valley and especially appreciate being in their new home. On Christmas the Day Christensens entertained Mr. and Mrs. Edwprd Barton at a lovely dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Winn Mower spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. James Mower and family in Riverton, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Allred and family and Mr. and Mrs. Berkley Mower all of Granger and with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mower and family of Willard. Mrs. Reva Fillis and her sons, David and Russell of Mission Viego, California are visiting here during the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Cox. Anna Jensen entertained friends at a quilting party on Thursday. Luncheon was served to Emma Evans, Alice Nelson, Mildred Lasson, Geneva Hansen, Twila Llewellyn, Mae Miner and Phyllis Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barton had a lovely surprise Christmas Night when Newlyweds Wendy Anne and Brad J. Anderson stopped in to see them. The Andersons were married on December 21 in Sedro Wooley, Washington and were on their honeymoon. Wendy Anne is Mrs. Bartons niece and is the daughter of John Wendell and Erice Daly Mower also of Sedro Woolley, Washington. Mrs. Anna Jensen attended a Christmas Ephraim at Eve Party in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vail Nielson and family. A lovely evening was enjoyed by nineteen family members. A delicious dinner, gift exchange and program was enjoyed and a visit by Santa. Mrs. Geneva T. Hansen spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Tucker in Provo. Visiting during the weekend with Mrs. Alice Stewart were Patricia Stewart of Los Angeles, California Gaylan Patricia Stewart returned to Saturday after Stewart and Mary Jane Los Angeles on Unander of Salt Lake City. Joining them for Sunday dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Peterson and children. Anna afternoon Sunday Jensen presented her students in a piano recital which was enjoyed by their parents and friends. Participating were Tammy Madsen, who played Silent Night and We Three Kings of Orient Gloria Hunter who Are; presented Silver Bells and Hark The Herald Angels Sing; and Pauline Russon who played Sleigh Bells, Nazareth and what Child Is This. Group singing was enjoyed and accompanied by Pauline Russon and Gloria Hunter. Birdlings by Greg was played by guest artist Kristine Russon. Light refreshments were served to fourteen guests. Don and Ethel Rosenlund were visitors during the holidays in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Allred and family. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Ellsworth, of Hunter, spent Christmas in spending the Christmas holidays visiting in Fairview. Mrs. Alice Stewart accompanied her to the airport and then spent a few days visiting with Mrs. Lyle Coombs in Salt Lake City. Ila Jensen and Mrs. Sarah Rigby have returned home after spending two weeks visiting with members of their family in Provo and Roy. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Abbott to their home where they spent a few days and then Mrs. Jensen went to Roy where she visited with Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Terry for ten days. After Christmas the Abbotts entertained Mrs. Jensen, Mrs. Rigby, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Jensen and two girls and Mr. and Mrs. Terry and two boys at a family dinner. Mrs. Guy and Ellen Tucker recently the Petersons Cousins club at a lovely luncheon and Christmas social. Cleston Rigby, a former Fairview resident, was married on December 27 in the Provo Temple to Elizabeth Sweet also of Provo. Following the marriage the couple were honored at a breakfast given by Dr. and Mrs. Keith Rigby and that evening were honored at an open house given by Dr. and Mrs. Richard Caracrift. Mrs. Ila Jensen and Mrs. Sarah Riby enjoyed attending a New Years dinner which has become traditional for members of the Rigby family. The dinner was held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Keith Rigby in Provo.
