Show Page Four The Mt Pleasant Pyramid WaL November 13, 1970 Vicki Lee Reynolds crowned USU SOCIAL EVE homecoming queen Monday night Vicki Lee Reynolds, daughter (of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Reynolds, jilt. Pleasant, was crowned Utah jsiate University Homecoming Queen Monday night in the contest held in the Fine Arts Qmter. Vicki, a senior majoring elementary flew Brief in was education, selected from a field of 35 candidates. She was sponsored by the Intercollegiate Knights, having been selected as the 1. K. Duchess last May. Her attendants are Dorothy Jo Caddie of Logan and Zetta S itterwhite of Ogden. Micheal Carver of Brigham City was master of ceremonies for the program. A group, The and Fourth Augmented Grapevine provided the Vicki Reynolds . . . USU queen en- tertainment. Vicki was crowned by last years queen, Stephanie Bruckner. Vicki and her attendants will reign over Homecoming Week activities which will conclude November 16. Highlights include the parade at 10 a.m. on November 14, over which Miss Reynolds is chairman; the football game with the University of Idaho at 1:30 p.m. 14 and the on November Homecoming Ball that night at 9 oclock. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Brown went to Salt Lake airport Thursday to meet Mrs. Browns sister, Mrs. George (Kitty) Elsey of Black Town, New south Wales, near Sydney, Australia. Mr. Draper was born in Moroni Nov. 4, 1886, a son of Amos and Sarah Mr. and Mrs. Edgar E. Lasson received word recently that their son, Robert Lasson, was sustained a member of the Stake Presidency in San Jose, California. Jane Thomas Draper. He followed the occupation of farmer and sheep shearer for many years. He was water-mastand served on the Moroni City council. He was also active in the L.D.S. church as a counselor in the Sunday School superintendency, as a stake missionary, and as secretary to the high council. He married Luella Bradley March 23, 1910 in the Manti Temple. They lived in McGill, Nevada for a year, then returned to Moroni where they have since resided. They are the parents of five children: Grant B., Moroni; Vem T., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lynn (Ida) Oldroyd, Fountain Green; Mrs. Boyd (Ruth) Goble, Ephraim; Mrs. Ray (Jeniel) Boswell, Nephi. She is presently a senior attending Utah State University majoring in Food and Nutrition. She is affiliated with Lambda Delta Sigma. Mr. Jensen has fulfilled an LDS mission to the Southwest Indian Mission. He has completed a tour of duty with the U. S. Army and served one year in Vietnam. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Anderson are the parents of a baby girl born Oct. 14. She had to be in the hospital for sometime but is at home now and doing fine.
