Pleasant; Justesen observed his Rulon Peterson, Ephraim; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allred and baby, John, James and Randy Allred, Spring City; and Cynthia Allred of Provo. Mrs. Cora Hooks of California called Mrs. Allred at the occasion. Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Virgus Osborne were Mr. and Mrs. Connell Osborne and family, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Osborne and children of Nephi. Kent Strate visited his wife at a Salt Lake Hospital Sunday. Mrs. Strate returned home with him after a weeks stay at the hospital. Miss Aileen Larsen, Bancroft, Idaho, and Miss Camille Larsen, USU student, Logan, was home for the weekend with their mother Mrs. Etta Larsen. Miss Mary Larsen of Salt Lake City spent the past weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Larsen. With Mrs. Etta Larsen of this city and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Keyes of Ogden they all observed the birthday anniversary of Miss Mary Larsen. TTiey enjoyed birthday refreshments served by Mrs. Heinz Larsen. Ruel Allred and son Chad of Provo, Wallace Allred and son Kenneth of Orem were Saturday visitors with Mrs. Reid H. afternoon Allred. Mrs. Thomas (Leah) Christensen of Torrence, Calif., is visiting her sisters Mrs. Lafern Jensen and Mrs. Sarah Justesen. Mrs. Christensen is a former resident of this city and will visit many friends and relatives while here. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Osborne and family and Larry Blain all of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ruthford Osborne. Willard Sorensen has returned home after spending some time at the Veterans Hospital at Salt Lake City. Mr. Sorensen suffered a broken neck and injuries during the first hunt of elk Lt. jg Gay lan Stewart spent three days in Fairview visiting with his mother, Mrs. Alice Stewart and with other members of his family and with friends. Mrs. Green was a former Fairview resident. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tucker spent Thursday visiting in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Tucker and family. Mrs. Bert Christensen returned home on Tuesday of last week after spending four weeks visiting in Idaho. She had a lovely visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ellis (Beth) Orton in Pocatello and then enjoyed a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Christensen in Burley. In Ruford she spent several enjoyable days 427-378- 0 with Mr. and Mrs. Denny Hendricksen and Mrs. Marjorie Bowman and also enjoyed visiting with other friends and relatives. Mrs. Christensen came home with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hendricksen of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stewart of Cedar City and their family spent the weekend in Fairview visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Stewart and with other friends and relatives. They report they are enjoying Cedar City and are all busy with school. Mr. Stewart is teaching at the college and Mrs. Stewart and Leslie are attending Ihe college. Cliff is attending high school, Mark is in junior high and Rebecca is in the sixth grade. Mr. and Mrs, Daryl Stewart were hosts to the Fireside group on Sunday evening. A filmstrip on Temple marriage was shown to the group. The meeting was conducted by Ted Mower. Prayers were given by Clyde and Edith Cox. Other guest included Mr. and Mrs. Glade Mower, Mr. and Mrs. Blake Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Iven Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mower, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Tucker, Ila Jensen, Ada Itench, Hazel Anderson and Sharon Maynard. Next month the group will meet at the Sherrill Anderson home. Mrs. Lucy Tucker entertained her sewing club on Wednesday afternoon. She served a lovely dinner to Marcella Graham, Sarah Araminta Rigby, Clement, Eda Graham, Ethel Mower, Loa Stewart, Burdella Terry, Rozella Collard, Dora Rigby, Ila Jensen, Mildred Lasson, Cecil James, Emma Evans, Loma Tucker and Ellen Turpin. Mrs. Rose Brady of Salt Lake City was a visitor last week with her sister, Mrs. Clara Stewart. On Friday night Eda Anderson entertained at a party. Dinner was served and games were played by the guests. Guests were Ellis Madsen, Da Jensen, Maureen Cook, Toyoko Christensen, Cleone Cox and Betty Ramsey. Jaycettes met Wednesday nightoflast week in the city hall. The Mrs. Helen Thornton of Mt. Pleasant was a special guest. Mrs. Thornton has a beautiful of Christmas collection decorations and she displayed these items for the girls. Hostesses were Jane Larsen and Lorraine Larsen. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Mower during last weekend were Michael and Annette Leddingham and five of their friends from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. The young people were here to attend the Ricks vs. Snow football game which Ricks won. Mrs. Ila Jensen entertained guests at her home on Sunday at a dinner party in honor of Mrs. Sarah Rigbys 85th birthday anniversary. Dinner guests were Mrs. Ruth Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Therald Rigby and son David of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Faye Lay and her Indian child, Sharon, of Circleville; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Staker and Charlie of Mt.
