He married Grace Vincent on April 19, 1916, in Provo. She died Dec. 16, 1967, He received his education in Provo schools and was valedictorian of his graduating class. Mr. Beesley worked on farms in Idaho and served on the Provo Fire Department and was employed by Provo Gas Co. Aug. 21, 1914, in the Salt Lake Temple, She was a school teacher and housewife. She was an active member of the LDS Church,living in the Pleasant Grove Fifth Wardat the time of her death. She was a member of the Mothers Study Club and of the DUP. Survivors include her husband, Pleasant Grove; one son and two daughters, Warren P. Kirk, China Lake, Calif.; Mrs. Katherine Woolf, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Bill (Emmeline) Wirthlin, Salt Lake City; grandchildren. Funeralservices will be held Tuesday at noon in the Timpanogos Stake House. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, CLARENCE BEESLEY After his marriage he purchased the Second Ward Grocery in Provo in 1921, selling it in 1932 when he was made district representative of the Federal Home Owner Loan Co. Helater moved to Salt Lake City and became assistant state manager of FHA. In 1941 he became the state representative of Federal War Housing. His hobbies were hunting and Provo Man Dies at 85 Claud C. Conder, 85, 3945 N., Provo, died Thursday in an Orem rest home of causes incident to age. He was born Dec. 15,1885,in American Fork, a son of John and Hannah Hansen Conder. He married Hilda Strong on Feb. 12, 1908, in Provo; the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died on Nov. 14, 1952. Mr. Conder was an employee of the Utah Power and Light Co. for 48 years. He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Edgemont Ward at the time of his death. Survivors include five daughters and two sons, John C. Conder, Bountiful; C. Phillip Conder, Kemmerer, Wyo.; Me Clare (Donna) Banks, Cedar City; Vera Conder, Orem; Mrs. Algon (Maxeen) Paddock, Provo; Mrs. Don (Mary) Edwards, Kaysville; Mrs. John 0. Groesbeck, 62, 27 E. 8th N., Oreni, died Friday afternoon at the Utah Valley Hospital of a massive brain hemorrhage. He was born March 25, 1908, in Richmond, Cache Co,, a son of William Jess and Hilia McKenzie Groesbeck. He married Enid Jensen on June 7, 1932, in Nephi, The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1935. He worked for 14 years as a pipe fitter for GenevaSteel, retiring N_ 1961 because of 2 heart ailment. Helived in Utah mostof his life, but lived also in Idaho and Washington, He wi a member of the U.S. Steelworkers of America and the Orem Lions Club. He was an Elder in the LDS Church, Survivorsinclude his widow of Orem; four sons and one daughter, Dean J. CHERRINGTON one of the organizers of the Springville-Mapleton Fruit Growers Association. He served eight years as a director and in 1940 as president of the Utah Poultry Producers Association. Heretired in 1952. Prominent in community affairs, Mr, Cherrington served as mayor of Springville from 1954 to 1958. He served as a Kolob LDS Stake high councilman for 17 years, beginningin 1928, except for five years a as Bishop of the Springville LDS Ward from 1930 to 185.te also served as president of the YMMIA in his ward and as chairman of the building committee. Dead is Joy Redden, 38. She was struck by a car driven by James Quiggle, no age listed, an airman at Hill Air Force Base.
