Show 1, How much will my Policy pay me when | go to the hospital? When you go to the hospital, this National Health Plan pays you a full $400.00-A-MONTH extra cash income every month. When you're 65 or over, you collect cash benefits on top of Medicare benefits. $200.00 A MONTH for first3 months, anda full $400.00 monthly while you are i ft - even for life. You collect cash not just for“yourself butfor every Covered Member of your tamily who is hospitalized! And you collect cash evenif you're in the hospital for only one day. 2. May | enroll if | am 65 or over? Yes, you may. Folks any age are welcometo enroll—there is no age limit! Members 65 or over—even over 100 are paid $200.00 a monthforthe first three months, and a full $400.00 a month thereafter. Naturally, it's in addition to Medicare. 6. Winat if my spouse and | are injured in an accident and are at the same time? You receive DOUBLE paymentif this happens. Yes, this National Health Plan pays you not $400.00, not $800.00, but $1,600.00 cash every month (when under age 65)— for as long as both of you remain in the hospital—even forlife, if neces- sary. 7. How much do | receive for a Registered Nurse at home? 3. Do you pay me cash when my childran go to the hospital? Yes, we surely do! When you add Coveragefor Children to the basj¢ Plan, you receive $240.00-a-month extra cash for each eligible, dependent child from the age of 1 month through 18 years. 4. What about any children we have in the future—will they be protected, too? They surely will! When you have Coveragefor Children (with or without Maternity Benefits), your ‘new addition”will be covered automatically at the age of 1 month and at no extra cost. 5. Will you pay me $400.00-a-month cash childbirth or miscarriage that results in a hospital stay when both parents have beer enrolled under the Plan. for ? Yes, even for pregnancy. Some health plans DON'T cover pregnancy. Butwe do. When you have overage for Children and Ma- ternity Benefits, you collect $400.00-a-month for each pregnancy, You collect $400.00 a month up to $4,800.00 when your doctor has you employ full-time Registered Nurse within 5 days after you return home. You need only to have been hospitalized 5 days or more. Your Registered Nurse At Homebenefits continue during employment of the nurse for the same number of days you were in the hospital—even for as long as 12 full months. 8. When do | collect up to $2,000.00 extra cash for accidents? Wepay you $1,000.00 extra cash for complete accidentalloss of one hand or onefoot orsight of one eye, and $2,000.00 extra cash for loss of both hands or both feet or sight of both eyes—evenif it happens as long as 3 months after the accident. Naturally, National Home that loss of limb or eyesight is a terrible thing. Nothing can take its place. But a check for an extra $1,000.00 or $2,600.00 can help bring peace of mind during the difficult period of adjustment. 9. What if | am hospitalized by the same iliness—again? Don’t worry. You stil! collect your $400.00-A-MONTHextra cash income. You need only to have resumed full normal activities for just 90 days—then we consider it a “new confinement.” Which means you can collect all over again. 10. What if | already have some health or hospital insurance—will you pay me anyway...on top of what they pay me? Of course we will! That’s the beauty of your National Health Pian. That's whyit’s called an Extra Cash Plan. Never mind what you collect from Blue Cross, Blue Shield, or Workmen’s Compensation. We still pay you $400.00-a-month extra cash—even forlife,if necessary. So,if other insurance has taken care of some —or even all—of your medical bills... you still have that extra cash income from National Home.Isn’t that a nice way to end an illness? Naturally, at these low rates, we can issue you only ong policy ofthis type. 11. Why do | need this Pian in addition to other hospital and health insurance? While hospital costs have more than doubled in recent years, few people have doubled their insurance. If your other hospitalization policies are more than two years old, you have already lost % of the benefits DUE TO SKYROCKETING MEDICAL costs! 12. How can | spend my cash benefits? Spend the money any way you choose. To coverbills from the doctor, surgeon, nurse, druggist or anyone who has given you care and treatment. If you have moneyleft over, use it to Pay for living expenseslike rent, food, clothing. Orputit in the bank to replace any income you lost during your hospitalization. |
