| Show SOCIETY NOTES on saturday last the primary officers 0 of the third ward gave a delightful social in honor ot of miss hiss daisy madsen former president ot of the association so at the ward meeting house the hall was tastefully decorated with flowers the benches were all removed and the hall was wag transformed into a large parlor with comfortable rocking chairs for many of the guests A program was rendered during which the guest of honor was presented a gold broach from her associates as is a token of love ant and appreciation of her labors each of her counselors were also taken by surprise and presented a framed picture each progressive conversation on oil interesting te topics of the day was indulged in for some time after which alich refreshments consisting of sherbit and cake were served there were about fifty people present |
