Show i SUDDENLY MILE CALLED while in the enjoyment of almost p health sirs mrs annie C johnson of the first ward suffered an apoplectic stroke last sunday evening about 7 which rendered bar unconscious in which condition she remained all during the night excepting for about three quarters of an hour during which time she recognized those about her and her spirit passed into the other life monday morning about 8 the sudden passing of their mother was a great shock to the family tor for mrs johnson had been about doing her work on sunday evidently enjoying the best of health when the news was given out morning many could hardly believe it the lady having been seen by her neighbors and friends the day before all well and happy by tho the death of annie C johnson the first ward loses one of its faithful members and the relief society cause is deprived of one of its most zealous workers for mrs johnson has long been one of tho the leading spirits in that labor in the ward in which she resided and her labors also extended to others who did not reside in her own ward she was a noble woman unselfish and untiring in her efforts to alleviate the suffering of others she had truly consecrated sec rated her life to the blessing of mankind and that she faithfully and unflinchingly performed her part can be attested to by scores of those N who ho have been blessed her acts of kind ness mrs johnson was born in denmark april 4 1844 and came to utah in 56 she became the wife of the late john johnson Job when she was a young woman and by him bore ten children five of whom preceded her to the spirit world Dur during ingher her lifetime life time she has been a consistent worker in the cause which she espoused in her native land and as rt billed cited was one of the most prominent members and workers in th the eilet so c ik yot Y tot t ot th the a ward slie she was always doing something and her passing removes from tho the world a true friend of humanity funeral services are being held today at 2 p in in the first ward meeting house bouse |
