For many years the restaurant was in downtownSalt Lake City, but it moved south 10 years ago. Now, sharing shop- ping centerwith several dis stores, Ding Ho Cafe is functional DINNER The menuis basically Canton ese, with an additional page of Americandishes. Granted, there is no view of the mountainsor the valley, but the cafe does offer cheap eats. In fact, two people can share a combinationdinner, with tax andtip, for less than $15. Theregular patrons pre sit in low booths in the roomof the cafe — close to the open kitchen and cash register What do they order? For some reason, the salad bar is popular Though limited to basic iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and thelike, it onlycosts $2.60for one trip. The “All You Can Eat choice costs $4.25.
