time mr Itle bardsen was there I 1 think she had proper attention the child was BORN prematurely I 1 think dont think anything had been administered to produce premature birth I 1 do not know where the child was placed it was very small and was perhaps a seven months child have no idea of the cause I 1 saw miss mish creamer a couple of years ago she has no relatives here I 1 knew her father in nevada do not koo know any thins thing of the child left at dr bern diets further than that it was a girl dr white testified rhe he was called on monday forenoon miss creamer complained of pain and I town this she would hot do and I 1 told her to confide in some woman she did so and the woman advised her to leave she tried to keep herself from disgrace I 1 think her GOING TO THE LAKE so often was the cause of the premature birth she had once fallen from a sofa at the place she was boarding and a young man she was scuffling with fell on her causing her considerable pain she told me she thought the cold water of the lake had caused her sickness she came to my room about 11 II 11 pm on saturday and told me she was suffering and thought she would give birth to her child I 1 wanted her to go to the ake woman she had confided in but she would not I 1 told her that her staying there would be bad on me and she remarked that I 1 would not throw her in the street I 1 let her come in ili 1 she seemed bent on keeping it a secret and made me promise to do so so fa far as I 1 was conce concerned ined I 1 gave her the sofa handshe lay down at her request I 1 WENT FOR fora A PHYSICIAN and called
