Special Meeting Called To Make Centennial Plans Pocatello Violinist To Play In Logan Margo Gates, Cache Valley Centennial celebration m 1956, has called a special meeting of representatves of all the stakes, cities, sthool districts, and civic organizations of Cache valley to meet at the Logan Stake house Sunday at 2 p. m. to effect a central organization and elect an executive committee. For several weeks the presidencies of the LDS stakes in the county and other groups have considered such an organization, and several preliminary meetings have been held. Two projects which should be under way is the writing of the history of Cache valley and to provide a historical museum for relics and antiques of the pioneers. It is the general opinion that the basement of the Logan tabernacle building, could be converted into such a place after the Eleventh ward moves into its new church building. The basement of the tabernacle is well located for tourists and with proper supervision it could become a very popular tourist center. Therg are numerous interesting relics in the homes of many families of the valley and with the proper places and protection, these could be had. Logan city is badly in need of sanitary, convenient rest rooms. Perhaps some arrangement could be worked out in connection with the proposed museum where there would always be supervision and Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints Dec. 9, it was announced this week.
