Civic League ladies have done a their lot to improve recreation in North Ogden and make it a more beautiful place to live. Every year they cook steamed puddings and sell them for Christmas to earn money to fix up North Ogdens parks or streets. This past year they raised money for swing sets for North Ogden Park and Oaklawn Park. The 4 sets have recently been installed. There are 12 swings, half of them cute animal shapes for the seing set project began was Janet Dale, who is now a 2 year director for the ' organization. Other projects by the group include the swimming pool, the play ground at North Ogden Park, bleachers, bowerys, tables and benches, lights, trees and plaques. The project chairman for the swing sets was Jo Miller, who said she personally sold 200 puddings. Everyone went to a lot of work, said Mrs. Miller. She was a member of the Pleasant View 2nd ward where she had been a primary teacher, MIA, teacher, relief society in-- structor and a visiting teacher. Mr. Forsberg was bom April 29, 1892, in Logan, a son of Henry and Rose Clausner Forsberg. He was married to Mildred Holdaway on Nov. 7, 1916, in Salt Lake City. He was a farmer and had been foreman for the Nelson Construction Co. in Logan. He was a member of the North Ogden 2nd LDS Ward. He had also been a member of the Logan 9th and 21st wards where he had served as chairman of the old folks committee. his are Surviving widow of North Ogden; a nephew whom he reared, Dale Madsen, Bountiful; six grandchildren and eight one brother, Revere Forsberg, Ogden; one half brother and n; Hitchcock Mrs. Yearsley had worked at the McKay Dee Hospital as a medical technologist. one half sister, Walter Haglund, Grace, Idaho'; Mrs. Emma Lallantine, Soda Springs.
