LITTLE p, SEWING MACHINE Storm Floods Sin Layton Mall Shops LAYTON--heavy rainstorm last Wednesday morning apparently caused a storm drain in back of Layton Hills Mall to overflow. Six mall stores reported water on the floors. A Cleanup crews were at work throughout the day removing the water at the newly opened Wolfes Sporting Goods, the Lettuce Inn, Beehive Clothing, R&B Ice Cream, Pedersons Sports and Bon Marche. , It was just like a river in here, said Wolfes Manager Randy Turner on seeing three inches of water on his carpet at 6 a.m. Turner said the heavy rains in the early morning caused a storm drain to overflow and fill a stairwell until the door gave in, releasing the water into his store.
