'Tv It i forms the eastern border of Carbon County. it an area of the wildest Desolation Canyon, located in Carbon County, is still almost as wild and isolated as it was when Major John Wesley Powell and his crews first floated the Green River and Colorado rivers in 1868 and 1869. The historic "cowboy cache" was left under a small overhang sometime between 1940 and 1941. |
