East Carbons Anderson put an impressive 20 points on the board against the Tintic Miners, but it wasnt enough to overcome their 12 point lead in the end. First quarter action saw the Miners up 9 points, East Carbon exploded in the second quarter with a ten point lead against the Miners 8. This gave the Vikings a one point lead at half time. Third quarter play saw a switch with the Miners coming on strong with 15 and the Vikings slipping to only 9. Fourth 20-1- 1. quarter action was better, the Vikings woke up, but the Miners were wide awake ending the game with a win. Saturday night was even worse for the Vikings when they faced off with the Meridian Mongooses. The third quarter of the game was the downfall for the Vikings scoring only 9 against Meridians 23.
