May 14. 1997 Page 2 Salina Sun Letter to the Editor Middle School needs an auditorium DearEditor, As concerned members of the com- munity, we would like to voice our support for the addition of an auditorium to the middle school that is being built for our students. The building that is being designed is beautiful and includes all the modern facilities that will benefit our students, everything but an auditorium. Looking at the plans, there are possibilities to extend for an auditorium. We know there is limited funding, but with careful planning and receipts from future productions, this could be a reality. Ifyouhave been involved with our community you should know that we have one of the best drama departments of any m idd le school in the state, and we need to continue to support jt.
