Meadow ville and peoa geoa killing frosts occurred the forepart of the week was characterized by extremely dry hot days and cool nights while moderate showers fairly well distributed over the state stafe windy and cooler weather was the rule the latter part of the week beet digging is progressing nicely and corn cutting is well under way threshing continues active and in some sections ohp th threshing of small grain is almost completed sowing of onion seed has commenced the potato crop is being marketed by the car load with fair returns BEAVER COUNTY minersville Miners ville the past week has been favorable for all kinds of farm work threshing is over and farmers are busy cutting and hauling corn no frost here up to date BOXELDER COUNTY brigham city warm days and cool nights southerly winds in daytime changing to brisk easterly winds at night on the night of the alth rain amounting to 13 of an inch corn is being cut Snow vIle weather cooler light frost on the ath and ath second SAN JUAN COUNTY monticello heavy grain crops alfalfa all in no second crop to speak of about tons raised this season in this section light rains gardens look well range good SALT LAKE COUNTY mill
