Show JUNE 23, 1987 Hodgman rites held 'dDDSnUnnanpv L. La Vourie services held Clark Hodgman. He married Noreene Woodland Oct. 3, 1949 in Willard. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Ogden and El Segundo, Calif. He was a member of the Kay svil-l- e 7th LDS Ward where he served as an elder. He was a planner and schedular in maintainance at Hill Air Force Base until his retirement in April Grant and Alice Mitchell McNeely. She married Jean L. LaVourie on Oct. 24, 193 in Farmington. He died July 10, 1961 . She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She worked at Hill Air Force Base Hospital, the Freeport Center and the Davis County School Lunch Program. She had lived in Little Robe, 1 Layton the past Surviving are his widow of Kaysville, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Joe (Gail) Morrison, West Point; Mrs. Kerry (Vicki) Gardens of the Wasatch. Elder John McQuade officiated at the services. Prelude was by 22 Surviving are one son and three daughters, Steve J. La Vourie, Clearfield; Mrs. Dean (Jackie) Brown, Layton; Mrs. George (Julia) Zieglmeier, Ogden; Mrs. Wallace (Charlene) Greenwell, Fruit Heights; eight grandchildren and one Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Ray (Ivie) Deakin, Ogden. Beltz Lucille Mary Schmidt Beltz, 69, of 1604 S. 2500 W., Syracuse, died Thursday, June 11, 1987 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of causes incident to age. She was bom Sept. 12, 1917 in Stotts City, Mo., a daughter of 1983. She was a member of the LDS Church and had lived in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Calif.; Farmington and Sunset. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Dennis W. Dinger, Hooper; Bruce G. Dinger, Salt Lake City; Donna D. Simmons, Sunset; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Charles Sample, Solvang, Calif. Services were held at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy , Wednesday, June 17. Sorensen, Darrell and Sheri Knowles; speakers, Richard Butler and Gayle Larkins; benediction, Stanley Gallegher. Dedication of the grave was by Lester Dredge with interment in the Willard City Cemetery. Pallbears were Kent Woodland, Val Woodland, Charles Blair, Kerry Miya, Troy Miya and Kelly Woodland. from the Intermountain Indian School in 1973 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the West Point 7th Ward where he served as high priest group leader, instructor for the High Priest and Elders quorum. He had also served in many other auxiliaries of the church. Surviving are his widow of West Point, two sons and one daughter, Darrel R. Twede, Bountiful; Douglas M. Twede, Syracuse; Mrs. Brent G. (Sondra) Poll, South Weber; 15 grandchildren. Also surviving are six sisters, Doris Jensen and Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Bigler, both of Payson; Mrs. Elvon (Thelma) Butler, Spring Lake; Veda Durfey, St. George; Mrs. Art (Hilda) Kinder, Pioche, Nev.; Mrs. William (Arle-na- ) DeHeer, Orem. He was preceded in death by five brothers. Services were held June 17 at the West Point Stake Center with Bishop Brent A. Youngberg of the West Point 7th Ward officiating. She was bom Aug. 10, 1909, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of George and Della Frank Sample. She married Marvin Charles Dinger May 30, 1942 in Hollywood, Calif. He died April 11, ducted by Bishop Melvin Peel of the Kaysville 7th Ward. She was a member of the Protestant Church. She was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Clearfield where she served as president. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Glenn P. He was born Nov. 3, 1907 in Payson, a son of Herman August and Mary Eliza Jensen Twede. He married Wilma Holladay Jan. 23, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was reared in Payson and had lived in Salt Lake City.
