Five of the 1 3 teachers who taught these youngsters during those eight years just prior to the dee pression are still living. Edna Layton, a teacher now living in California, is the oldest at 94. She was unable to attend because of a fractured e teacher who is hip, but Hugh Wilcox, a now 86, was there. Others, including Ewa Layton Newman, of Salt Lake City. Lavon Pack Robinson, St. George, and Blanche Adams Reed, of Layton, were scheduled to attend. Both principals of Kaysville Public School during E.M. VJhitesides and George Holt, that period have passed on.
