next year’s Irene Ryan Scholarship competition Irene Ryan portrayed Granny Clampett in the television scries “The Beverly Hillbillies" The “Irene Ryan” is a national competition for actors and technicians In order to compete the actor must be nominated by an adjudicator and director for a performance in a production entered in the Amencan College Theatre Festival competition Weber State usually enters one production each year Winners receive scholarship funds to attend the university of their choice “I really encourage the public to come and support the program” said Phipps “It’s
