time thursday a fist fight occurred between several high binders and this afternoon a general meeting took place on the streets about twenty all armed with pistols participated over shots were exchanged and the row lasted some ten minutes four high binders were SHOT DOWN and two others badly w wounded bounded four were removed to the hospital where one died very soon after the theother other three are wounded fatally and cannot live two other wounded men were carried away during the fight by their countrymen and cannot be found by the police several more are believed to be wounded five high binders have been arrested who are charged with being connected with the bloody affair at the time the streets were filled with crowds but none of the spectators were struck by the many random shots the most intense excitement pre vails in chinatown where several thousand chinese are congregated and it Is feared the trouble is not yet ended the bloody fight is due to the hatred
