| Show sunday school anniversary AmElai cAw FORK may attl 1888 editor di or deseret news bews twenty tour four years lears ago the sunday school of american american fork was organized or an and for many years it has been geen customary here to celebrate the anniversary of 0 that hat day the day d was fully as well celebrated last san kandav ay as ever in the past the gramme pro consisted of songs recitations and addresses to mention the rendition of any students part would demand the same of almost all as every feature of the celebration reflected much credit on the school we had bad with us as usual on these occasions ca elders goddard and willis in tact fact an anniversary here would not bot seem alnor the pro gramme comp ete without their venerable gray beards among us and their pleasing songs to cheer us many other visitors were with us from the surrounding settlements as is generally the case meetinghouse the meeting house was handsomely decorated for the occasion for which a good word is due the committee on decoration it matters not what committee of the sunday school is at work our energetic superintendent elder james gardner may always be found laboring with them he spared no et tort fort to make the anniversary a success which it indeed was there is talent in american fork and the right kind of workers in the sunday school to bring it out respectfully L T SHELLBY secretary |
