The registration deadline for the Scholastic Aptitude Test is Nov. 1 and registration for the Law Services Admission Test is Nov. 5. Both tests will be administered Dec. 7. The deadline to register for the Graduate Record Exam is Nov. 4 and Nov. 15 for the American College Test. The GRE and ACT tests will be given Dec. 14. Registration packets are available at the center, located in Adminstration 102. Other tests offered by the center include the Career Choices Computer Search, the College Level Examination Piogiam, General Education Development, Millers Analogy Test, Myeis-Brigg- s Interest Inventor) Personality Inventory, and Proctory for Other Agencies Test prices range from $'3 to ALL RINGS 15 OFF reg. price mrewin Strong-Campbe- r ll $35. The Student Development Center is open during normal weekday office hours, and remains open until 7 p.m. Tuesday evening for academic counseling and, by appointment, academic and interest testing. REAL ESTATE COURSE OFFERED: A three-hou- r, state-certifie- d course for real estate agents will be offered Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Zion Conference Room. Titled Lending Fundamentals: How to Get the Bank to Say the class is designed to help realtors fulfill the yes, continuing education requirement now in effect in Utah. Alan Hamlin, assistant professor of business and finance at SU, will conduct the class. Hamlin has past experience as a real estate loan officer at a major California bank and was a founder of a mortgage banking company in San Diego. He has taught real estate courses at SU for the past seven years. Because enrollment is limited to 50 people for each class, Hamlin suggests that those planning to attend register in advance. The course is $30. If space is available, participants may pay at the door. SU BAR ASSOCIATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP: SUs Bar Association has presented one of its annual scholarships to student Craig Nygren, a senior earning a bachelors degree with a double major in elementary education al and special education. Nygren worked for family businesses in New Mexico for many years, but said his dream had always been to earn a degree and become a teacher. He plans to complete a masters degree in education administration. The SUBA scholarship is a private award that can be awarded to a student in any field. Academic standing is only one factor among several in determining who the scholarship will be awarded to. Other factors include community involvement and volunteer work. Applications for 1992-9- 3 scholarships will be taken in February and the recipients will be informed before spring quarter.
