Space Shuttle 2, Ashcroft Observatory, Coming up Outreach meeting set The elementary education outreach program will be explained at a Nov. 14 meeting to be hosted by the SUSC Division of Continuing Education in Delta. The meeting will be held at Millard School District offices from 6 to 8 p.m. Prospective students will learn about the major requirements from instructors, while current students in the outrenJ: program will review their winter and spring schedules. SUSC offers the elementary education degree along with two minors in psychology and reading to outreach students in Richfield. Books to be donated Two college libraries will benefit from books given by the Israeli Consulate General in L.A. through SUSC because of Jewish Week. Complete sets of books covering the Israeli perspective on archaeology, sociology, immigration, Jewish values, the Holocaust, Zionism, and the Israeli economy have been 7 p.m. presented to SUSC Library, the Dixie College Library, and the Cedar City, Parowan, and Washington County public libraries. Slide show slated The slide show Space Shuttle 2 will be shown every Monday this month at SUSC Ashcroft Observatory. The programs are scheduled to start at 7 p.m., the Monday programs are free to the public. Astronomical observation sessions are held after each slide presentation. Visitors will have a chance to see late autumn deep skv objeets indudma the Andromeda galaxy and the Pleiades star cluster.
