He is being groomed for duty off the bench at either guard spot. Bill is a heady type player who does things well and is ' s His senior year he was named to the all conference (Sunrise Division) team and to the all Bonanza Tournament team. He is an above average shooter who can be relied upon to protect the ball and provide leadership. His experience should be valuable toithe team this season. Off the court, Bill is an outstanding student. He earned academic scholarship offers from several colleges and universities during his time at Las Vegas High School in on-cou- Ai rt Las Vegas, Nev. At Southern Utah State College he is completing a mathematics major and a computer science minor. & TRF.NT SCARLETT 42 F Trent Scarlett gives promise of providing the Thunderbirds with some genuine inside muscle. The center doesnt have exceptional size, but he works very well around the basket. 6-- 6 probably step immediately into a starting role and beef up the SCISC inside game. A complete player is the most common description of Trent. He can score, he can rebound, and he can play defense. He was an all conference and all state basketball and baseball player his senior at Bonanza High School in Las Vegas, Nev. During his senior basketball season, he averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds. Trent was recruited directly to the University of Nebraska where he saw limited playing time on two strong teams, averaging some two points and two rebounds per contest.
