PARK RANGERS and other government employes, pouring water on the spectacular were flames, .able to keep surrounding buildings and timber from catching .fire, but were not able to save the huge, structure. The hotel, once a plush hostelry filled with tourists every year, was being tom down at the time It had been empty for two years. THE BUILDING was condemned in 1958 and became 950-roo- Lightning Bolt Kills Worker the Yellowstone Park- Co.s biggest white elephant. The company tried to sell it for a year, and finally unloaded it for $25 a year ago to William Henry, Cody, who razes and salvages old buildings.
