The students and the Music Department staff have worked hard to present these programs and recitals. There were voice recitals which were more than excellent and a piano recital which was most enjoyable to listen to. Next year we hope these recitals will be better attended, though most of these concerts were pretty well attended, most could have had more audience participation. As usual these events were not advertised as well as they could have been. This situation will not continue any longer. On the 21st of May there was a recital in 2 by the voice department These featured two fine vocalists, and of course, they provided a very interesting program. The Choir Concert which was on the 23rd of May at the Jewish Community Center had a variety of works including some from the opera, the deep south, and Broadway. There were also sacred church songs sung. All in all the concert was an excellent program. Everyone who was there enjoyed it As the annual tour had taken oil the bugs which might have been In the blend and quality of the choir, this concert was almost perfect This was the last of the recitas and concerts the Music Depaitment planned for this year. Next year there will be a bigger and better program planned for the students of Westminster who really appreciate good music. 3H o3 3i33A B 33UO SSuiJOOUI OJ SUJ sjq jo isaa am guipuads pub sfi sm mi" smuoui x!s suj AJ3S OJ pjC.WJOJ Suiqooi SI P!N pjBno iBuopeM 3m JOJ qojiq jno uasoip SBq ures spun Tiani prq jo ?jq B pcq seq ouodibj qajM j o u 3 s SupcnpBjS jaqjouy oji -- B3JB Sim u! 8231103 B UI lDC9 oj sucid qog pmajduioo 3jb Apn;s 3jBnpBJ jo s.reaA omt siq uaq 33j3 qcin j AjisjaAiun sm sa sjajsBjM SR JOJ sossBiO aitn pej3 3uipuaB sq tav 9q nj 3qj ui uamuins siqj ojjbi qes ui ajaq guiqjOAA oq him joiuas 2unenpej3 --- qog ;Apnis jo scaae juajajjip puij oj 2u;o3 sjb Aaqx 2u;tcnpBj3 3q ijia sjuapms oismu sqj jo Aueui jauiuins siqx b BnauBOUBz Aubui i I |
