That capacity, ac- cording to City Auditor Gerry Ashman, could enable West Valley to offset the computers purchasing cost - if other cities contract to use the system. Even if contractual -- are not agreements reached, the system will still be able to provide an answer to just about any question anyone might want to ask about West Valleys financial Ashman situation, noted. With every expenditure, the auditor will know how much a department has spent that fiscal year, that month, what percentage of its budget has been spent and what re- mains.
