Utah Girls Village is holding an open house on Sunday, October 26 to make the public more aware of the facility and w hat it offers. The Village is a community home for girls who are in need of custodial care for varied reasons. Girls cannot come on their own choice but must be placed there by parents, juvenile court, guardian, social workers or responsible relatives. The girls are not usually in trouble with police but are girls whose home life has been disrupted and as a result their social and school life is also having problems. People are being invited to visit the Village which is at 5930 So. 4800 West from 2 to 7 p.m. next Sunday.
