A reception followed the ceremony at the brides parents home. Attending the bride were the maid of honor, Annette Evonne Ames, and Carol Batten, Barbara Culligan, Dixie Jenson, and Deane Thomas as the bridesmaids. The flower girl was Kellie Jean Culligan, the ring bearer was Corey Marvin Jensen, and Mrs. Jan Baron attended the guest book. Best man for the groom was Harold Dean Ames while the ushers were Rusty Bridge, Stuart Wilkes, Allan Thomas and Scott Arceneaux. Linda graduated from Murray high and attended both the University of Utah and BYU. The groom graduated from Alta high and is presently attending BYU. The newlyweds honeymooned at Pre-nupti- with her parents To Garden Rifes Unite Duo, Rebecca Engle, Garth Stowe West Valley City, UT. The home of the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton H. Engle of West Valley, is a graduate of Granger high and has attended the University of Utah were she was a member of the Utahnelles Drill Team. The groom is a graduate of Cottonwood high and is currently a student at the UofU. Lori Finley was maid of honor for Rebecca and bridesmaids were Susan and Shelly Engle. Brenda Stowe attended the guest book. Best man was Bob Stowe and groomsmen were Kevin Stowe and Phillip Roberts. The newlyweds plan to make their home in Salt Lake after returning from their honeymoon in Colorado. The groom is also a graduate of Granger high and is a student at the University of Utah where he is a senior engineering student. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark E. Hatch, Sr. Deb (Mrs. Richard) Hutchison was matron of honor while other attendants were Carrie Rasmussen, Roberta Zabriskie, Susan Hansen and Susan Hatch. Flower girls were Amice Madsen, Andrea and Becky Bundy and Anna Schmidt. Attending the guest book was Sally (Mrs. Scott) Schmidt. Chosen for the best man was Robin Bawden and ushers were Richard, Scott and Chris Hutchison. Helping with the gifts were Darren and Greg Bundy and Grant Madsen. Merl Robbins - Michael Poulsen Marries Miss Sarah A.Smethurst Michael Bart Poulsen of Murray took Sarah Ann Smethurst of Bountiful as his bride in a double-ring ceremony performed at Eldredge House on August 22. A reception immediately followed the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner for the bridal party was given at Della Fontana. Stacey Sutton was chosen to be maid of honor and bridesmaids were Laurie Poulsen, Terri Nilson and Linda Abeyta. Flower girls were Heather and Susanah Buchanan. Kim Johnson attended the guest book. Bart Forsyth was best man and ushers were Brett and Bob Poulsen and Rick Hagen. parties were hosted by Sonja and Terri Nilson and Sharon Smethurst and Kathryn Johsnon. The new Mr. and Mrs. Poulsen will honeymoon in Yellowstone and Jackson Hole and then make their home in Bountiful. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Poulsen and is a Murray high graduate. He is now attending the University of Utah. Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R. Smethurst. She is also a Murray graduate and is now attending LDS Business College. Merl McMillan Robbins will be celebrating her 85th birthday on September 28. Merl was born to David A. and Minnie Lovina Howe McMillan on September 28, 1895 in Murray. She attended Murray public schools and graduated from Murray high. Following her graduation from high school Merl attended the Universtiy of Utah and then taught school in Granite and Murray districts. She has been active in civic work and served as president of the Murray Womans club, president of the American Legion auxiliary, and was first vice president of the Department of Utah. She was on several state level committees for the Utah Federated Womans clubs. In addition Merl served with the western states as Child Welfare chairman for Utah and has been associated with the Utah Girls State program since its inception on both the local and state level. Merls husband, Harry was pres Merl McMillan Robbins bridge clubs she was associated with. She loves to hear from her many friends and she says, she appreciates the notes, letters and many phone calls she receives. Eschler Takes Turner As Bride Cindy Diane Turner and Lynn Jay Eschler were united in a double-rin- g ceremony on Saturday, September 13, at the Country Manor reception center. A reception followed at the Country Manor. Cindy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Turner. She is currently attending Westminster college, after graduation from Cottonwood high. Lynn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eschler and attended Granite high. The newlyweds plan to make their home in Salt Lake, following their honeymoon. The bridal party consisted of Tami (Mrs. Thomas) Hardy, sister of the bride, as matron of honor and Don Sparks as best man. Kathi (Mrs. Bruce) Allred attended the guest book.
