Now the school news: As most of you know, but for the benefit of those that dont know, lovely Susan Ori was crowned Homecoming1 Queen September 27th. The honor was announced before a capacity crowd of Granger students and alumni. Queen Susan having been crowned was radiantly happy as she was presented with a beau-t:fu- l bouquet of red roses. Her majesty was attended by Princesses Marilyn Johnson and Marsha Blake. ' evening, a dance was held. The theme was Echos That Remain. The decorations were red, blue and gray streamers from wall to wall. In the middle of the floor stood a white horse trimmed in red. The Queens throne was of white and ed satin with a gold G in the middle. Punch and cookies were served during the dance. The check will be used to assist in their work and to lighten expenses for the coming exhibit. According to Rebecca Cleveland, spokesman for the Arts The and Crafts Committee, Council has been very good to us, and we appreciate it. An art exhibit is being planned by the committee to be held at the Granger High School during the week of November 4 through S from 7 to 9:30 p.m. each of these nights. The exhibit wil be competitive in amatuer anc professional divisions, and wil' be open to the entire west side of the valley. A purchase award will be among those presented.
