She is cast in the role of Emma Atkins, a nurse in the jungle lands of the mythical Southeast country of Sarkhan where she undertakes a personal goodwill program by starting a childrens hospital. Jocelyn was born in San Francisco. While still a toddler she moved with her family to Omaha, Nebraska. He mother, the late first inspired Dorothy Brando, Jocelyn to embark on an acting career. She was a guiding light of the Omaha Community Playhouse, starring in numerous productions. Notable among them was Pygmalion. Jocelyn still talks about her mothers memorable portrayal in this play.
