' , Certificates f o r successful completion of teather training requirements were awarded Nov. 29 to 108 participants in Park Stake Sunday School Supt. Harold work. E. Noff- singer made the presentations to graduating teacher trainees at the conclusion of the eight. week course. Assisting him were Richard Marshall and Kay Worthington, assistant superin- tendents. a Instructors included Dr. Royal B. Garff, Macoy A. McMurray, Dr. Don A. Orton, Lynn A. McKinlay, Dr.. Lowell L. Bennion, Dr. Sydney B. Sperry and Paul F. Royall. Each was chosen because of his excellence in a particular field. All three members of the stake presidency, Pres. Charles B. Richmond, John C. Duncan, George B. Glad e, attended every meeting and received certificates for class participation. Mrs. Fred Tadje, 817 Eighth East St., was awarded her thirtieth certificate for participation in as many years of teacher training courses. In addition to attending class sessions the Sunday School teachers were required to submit a project in visual aids either for their personal use or for the ward library. Plans are now under way for a teacher training course for Junior Sunday School teachers and of Park Stake to commence in February, according to Supt. Noffsinger. Under the direction of Mrs. Martha Jones who is serving as chairman, the class members are busy every collecting Church book available from members of their ward. So that they might know what is available and how best to house the library, the bishopric and the presidents of the various ward auxiliary organizations recently visited t h e "Model Library" maintained by the Deseret 'Sunday School Union in their Salt Lake City offices. In addition to collecting Church and other religious reference books, the class members are also gathering suitable photographs and pictures which can be used as visual aids in the many classes conducted in the ward. .k., The individual letters were all plami in a suitable folio and mailed to the President at the White House.
