Later in Ogden the new Ogden Welfare Region was organized, which comprises 11 stakes in the Ogden area. The Northern Utah Welfare Region, which had become the largest region in the Church, was divided to form- - the new units. It now is composed of five stakes. Chairman of the new Wyuta Region is President Alan B. Blood, Davis Stake. Members of that region are Woodruff and Lyman stakes fronl Wyo- ming and Morgan,, Layton, Davis and North Davis stakes in Utah. The last three named were taken from the Salt Lake Region, which now has a mem- bership of eight stakes and will continue to function under the chairmanship of President Lin-coin F. Hanks, Salt Lake Stake. President Heber J. Eloise Mielke, Medford, Ore., Is a sophomore in the college at education, and writes as a hobby. Ruth Pehrson, a sophomore from Salt Lake, Is also in the college of education.
