SAC has recently created its own app to help students get involved in all of their activities. SAC is a branch of ASWC, made up of a small group of students who work hard to provide students with events, activities and programs at Westminster. Adrianna Pickering, SACs marketing and social media coordinator, said, The app was created to make it easier for students to get involved with SAC. The SAC app was designed to help students stay updated on the SAC schedule of events, check into events, connect with SACs Facebook and Instagram pages, give feedback, download the Associate Chair application, contact SAC, post event photos and view photos from past events. The push notifications are extremely helpful especially for those of us who dont live on campus anymore, said Shelby senior Hoefer, psychology and SAC user. app major I think the SAC app is f great, Hoefer said. With the SAC app, students can enter to win great prizes such as new SAC snapback hats or gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops. SAC has received positive feedback about the app and Rivera went further to say: So far it has been a huge success. We have had over 350 downloads with a growing audience of 20 people per day.
