ABC is my favorite television network to watch, which is why I have chosen a few shows that are to appear this season to profile. Ugly Betty stole my heart as a nice girl just trying to make it in this world like everyone else. Her character portrays that of the girl next door and can make any viewer fall in love with the show. Her shy yet quick wit combination won her another season, which will air its season premiere on Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. Greys Anatomy has added yet another young and intelligent intern to the hit television show. Previews show that Merediths younger half sister is the new addition to the cast and allude to a potential love triangle between the two Grey sisters and Derek McDreamy Shepherd. This show has talent and personality, which makes the season premiere something to not miss. "It will get my girlfriend out of the house every Thursday." Tim Massucco Junior Westminster junior Robbie Lyon is excited for the show to continue with a new season. When asked what VOLUME XU: ISSUE 3 he is most excited about, Lyon said that it is getting together with lots of friends and enjoying the drama of the most dysfunctional hospital ever known. Also a junior at Westminster, Tim Massucco is excited for the new season of Greys Anatomy because It will get my girlfriend out of the house every Thursday, he said with a chuckle. The season premiere will show Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. Brothers and Sisters, the dramatic yet comical show starring Sally Field and Calista Flockhart, will continue with another season on ABC. The family seems to be so dysfunctional that it is functional; two characteristics of a show that make it enticing and interesting. Watch the season premiere Sunday, Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. Premiere Week will also include more comical as well as dramatic new shows along with old favorite ones. Kate Walsh as Dr. Montgomery of Greys Anatomy was a strong asset to the show the previous season. In her new show, Private Practice, Walsh seems to already be just as strong of an asset. After being frustrated and having nowhere to go in Seattle, Addison finds refuge in Southern California at her friends health cooperative. New lovers and possibly new faces enter her life as she leaves Seattle and its dead ends behind her. Dont miss the season premiere of Private Practice Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. In Samantha Who?, Samantha Newly s life drastically changed when she was involved in a accident and was put into a coma for eight days. She hit-and-r- 10 un awakes to find herself completely coherent and able to function, but has no recollection of her past before the accident. Watch Samantha Who? as she lives to find her real self. Candice White, a sophomore at Westminster is looking forward to the new addition of shows. I like watching Greys Anatomy when I can, but having new shows to choose from will be nice, said White. Dont worry if three seasons of Greys Anatomy or Ugly Betty have gone by. Just go to www.abc.com and watch all of the previous seasons for free right from a computer. They can also be watched and purchased at www.itunes.com and from the ABC Web site.
