The third and fifth graders have finished taking their SAT tests. Thanks to you parents who helped your children prepare for these tests by getting your child to bed early and making sure they had a good breakfast the day of the testing. October is Water Education Month. Science classes will be teaching about water and its properties, the water cycle, conservation, as well as doing experiments with water. Going along with the theme, our school will once again take part in the annual Governors Water Poster contest. This years poster theme is Groundwater A Natural Wonder. Students can be doing brainstorming activities now to get an early start The poster can use any art medium on poster size or smaller paper. 24 X 30 paper is the largest that can be used. t Each classroom will have six winners, with one poster going on to state competition. Our school has a history of state winners, and this time it could be you! More information will be coming home on this later. Please be saving your Campbell Soup labels.
