Uncounted and frequently unheralded acts of kindness on his part have been the hallmark of his years of effort to assist his fellow human beings. His wife, Fern, has served with him, and contributed much to obtain the happiness of others. Lynn Slade, president of the Council; LaRae Ogden, coordinator; and Ronna Leyba, director of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) all paid tributes to Jensen. In his response, Earlin stated In this life we are all dependent on one another. Money cannot buy the association and service of good people. Trips to Payson, Provo and Salt Lake City taking sick or indigent people to doctors and hospitals have been common during his years of service. It has not been unusual for him to be called out of his bed in the middle of the night to cheer and comfort or provide transportation for someone in need. A retired plumbing contractor, Jensen still spends many hours making repairs for citizens or organizations who are unable to pay the current rates. His cheerful countenance and amiable na- - ture have earned him the respect and love of hundreds. 50th Year Reunion The North Sevier High School class of 1934 held their 50th reunion Friday evening, July 6th, at DeKator Manor.
