Poulsen Obituaries u Andrew Oluf Poulsen, 75, of Brigham City, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1977 at the Park View nursing home in Ogden. ll He was born Oct. 7, 1902 in Brigham City, a son of Paul Oluf and Caroline Sophia Petersen Poulsen. Maurice Eugene Hancey Maurice Eugene Hancey, age Fifth Nortfi, died at home of a brain tumor. He was born Aug. 21, 1939, in Logan, the son of J. Maurice and Daphna Duce Hancey. On July 26, 1960, he was married to Sharon Hoffman in the Logan LDS temple. He was raised and educated in Logan City schools and lived there until his marriage, when he moved to Brigham City. An active member of the LDS church, he was in the elders quorum presidency in the Seventh ward, in the Sunday school presidency, a Young Marrieds leader, Explorer adviser, and Cubmaster. He was employed as an automotive machinist. Survivers include his wife of Brigham City, his parents of Logan, one son and one daughter, David Eugene and Cindy Lou Hancey, both of Brigham City; five brothers, Wendell Hancey of Providence, Stephen Hancey of Logan, Don Hancey of Millville, Wade Hancey of Logan, Reed Hancey, serving an LDS mission in the Philippines, and one sister Mrs. Seth (Kathryn) Sparks of Logan. Funeral services will be conducted in the Seventh LDS ward chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the Olsen Funeral home one hour prior to services. (Gwenaver) Longhurst, Rex-bur- g, Idaho; Mrs. Otis (Helen E.) Runnels, Ogden; 11 grandchildren and 15 Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, C. A. in Bear River valley and attended Brigham Young college in Logan. He married Philene Jane Lena Gibbs on July 20, 1917, in the Logan LDS temple. He was a lifelong resident of Brigham City and attended schools in the city. He ran an experimental farm and propagated new varieties of strawberries. He was formerly the largest beekeeper in the county and was active in horticultural agencies. He was lifelong a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a past member of the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War I.
