Registration will be Friday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the pool. Numbers will be given out at 8:15 a.m. Classes, times and qualifications for all classes are as follows: Poly Wog offered for young children 3 and up who need adjustment to the water. This class is not designed to teach swimming it is to adjust the child to putting the face in the water, breath Control and overcoming fear. Children who Beginners don't mind putting their faces in the water and like the water. They should have no fear of the water to take this class. Advanced Beginners Advanced beginners Child should have passed a beginners class or have comparable skills. They must be able to swim 20 yards front crawl and elementary back, know how to breath, kick on their back for 10 feet and be able to jump in deep water level off and swim 15 feet. Child must be Intermediate able to swim front crawl 25 yards and breathe properly, must be able to swim 15 feet under water and must be able to tread water and survival float for two minutes. Swimmers Child must have passed intermediate course or have comparable skills. They must be able to swim 50 yards of front crawl, elementary back and breast stroke. They must swim continuously for five minutes, tread water one minute and survival float three minutes. non-sto- p Mom & Tot Tot This class is designed with the same purpose as Poly Wogs. The mother or Mom & father brings the child and gets in the water with them and works on adjustment to the water. The main purAcquacise pose of this adult woman excer-cis- e program is to lose weight, improve muscle tone and offer recreational skills. Life saving will be offered next session (July 5) if 10 or more people are interested.
