They came especially for two special events Saturday evening Kathy and her husband attended Kathys Bear River High school tenth class reunion held at the Tremonton Stake center. The other special event will be a testimonial for Mr. and Mrs. Oleen (Jean Williams) Josephson held in the Belmont Ward chapel Aug. 22 honoring them prior to their leaving to fulfill an LDS Mission in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Josephson attended the wedding of Oleens nephew Bob Walker of Omaha, Neb., who claimed Sonja Bolinder of Boise as his bride in rites performed in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Later family members enjoyed a delicious luncheon at the Hilton hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson spent the weekend as house-gues- ts of Mr. and Mrs. F. Allen Baker in Layton. Sunday they enjoyed a family Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson and sons Brian, Michael and Joey and daughters DeDe and Kelly of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christensen and daughters Sherrie, Lynn Ann and Dixie of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels and daughters April and Melissa of Ephraim. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson, Mrs. Loretta Starr and son John attended a church wedding in Salt Lake City where Daryle Starr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Starr claimed Shelly Quinn as his bride. A wedding breakfast followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Starr in n I Hunter. Wedding Reception Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Carl Starr accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Val Gibbs of Portage attended a wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Daryle Starr held at the Leville Reception center in Taylorsville. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Jed Lamb and family of Richmond. Brett Lamb who has been spending the past week with his grandparents, the Pet- ersons, accom-panie- Kelly, Chari and Krisha and son Bancroft, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hoesch and son Brandon of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Thorpe and daughter Jennifer of Honeyville. A cookout was enjoyed followed by a social. Mr. and Mrs. J.' B. Estep visited Grover Points in Malad Saturday evening. Mrs. Verna Jean Wakely and children returned to their home d A d delicious chicken dinner with all the trimmings was enjoyed by over 200 High Priests, their partners and widows in the stake. Last Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb attended a homecoming in Portage for Elder Kent Thomas who had just recently returned after serving an LDS mission in Puerto Rico. Mr. and Mrs. Newel Nish and Jana Ruth Stokes visited Bishop and Mrs. Udell Godfrey and family in Clarkston Thursday. Monday Mrs. Vernon Lamb and son Ronald, Mrs. Verna Jean Wakely and family, Mrs. Nonda Thorpe and daughter Jennifer, Mrs. Elaine Hoesch and son Brandon visited Mrs. Louise Hoesch in Sandy. They also visited points of interest including This Is The Place monument, Hogle zoo and Temple square. , Camping Trip Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lamb and family accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bart Williams and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Parrel Williams and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Williams and family of Malad camping enjoyed a three-da- y trip at Reservoir lake, Mont. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb attended a viewing for Mrs. Reva Pitzer in the Benson mortuary in Malad. Wednesday, Mrs. Lamb and son Kenneth' accompanied by Mrs. Elaine Hoesch and son Brandon and Mrs. Verna Jean Wakely and children and Mrs. Nonda Thorpe and Jennifer attended funeral services in the Benson mortuary for Mrs. Pitzer. Dr. and Mrs. Don Lamb and week as houseguests of Mrs. Nina Lamb. They also visited other relatives and friends in this area. Dr. Lamb came especially to attend his Bear River class reHigh school union held at Bowcutt Reception center in Tremonton Saturday evening. Melinda, Elaine, David and Charity Nish of Bountiful have been spending a week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Newel Nish while their parents Mr. and Mrs. Don Nish have been vacationing in the Northwest. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Ethel Rudd were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Harris of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Estep spent Wednesday evening visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Attending were Dr. and Mrs. Don Lamb and five daughters of Phoenix, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Forsgren and children Jessica and Jasey of Bothwell, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Cornwall and son Travis and daughters Carrie and Kisha Mrs.-DeVer- accepts Japan call Kevin P. Lee has accepted a call to serve in the Japan-Nagoy- a mission of the LDS church. A farewell testimonial will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 22 in the Farr West Second ward chapel, 2100 North 2000 West in Ogden. Elder Lee will enter the language training mission Aug. 26. Agraduate of Box Elder High school and Brigham Young university, Elder Lee is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert S. Lee, formerly of Brigham City.
