Show V 22 BOX JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah ELDER Thursday, December 18, 1975 customer regularly uses electric for all energy 400 kw of per kw next $2.21 demand residential service requirements, including but not per kw all additional kw $2.04 of demand WWW"W -- RESOLUTION of WHEREAS, Section the Revised Ordinances of Brigham City, Utah, 1957 provides for the changing and alteration from time to time by Resolution of the City Council, of the classifications, rates, charges and discounts of electric rates in Brigham City, Utah; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after thorough study and and finds consideration, determines that it is necessary and to the best interests of Brigham City Corporation and the inhabitants thereof, that said electric rates, charges, classifications and discounts be changed and-o- r discontinued as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and this doth order, that from and after the 1st day of January, 1976, the following shall apply for all electric service by Brigham City Corporation; RESIDENTIAL SERVICE Availability: At any point on the Citys interconnected system where there are facilities of adequate capacity. Application; This schedule is for alternating current service supplied at approximately 120 or 240 volts through one kilowatt hour meter at a single point of delivery for all electric service required on the premises for residential purposes. When conditions are such that service is supplied through one meter to more than one dwelling or apartment unit, the charge for such service will be computed by multiplying the number of kwh in each block and the minimum charges by the maximum number of dwelling or apartment units that may be served. Where a portion of a dwelling is used regularly for business, professional or other gainful purposes, the premises will be classified as nonresidential and the appropriate schedule applied. However, if the wiring is so arranged that the service for residential purposes can be this metered separately, Schedule will be applied to such service. Voltage Discount: Where Customer takes service from Citys available lines of 2300 volts or higher and provides and maintains all other and transformers necessary equipment, the voltage discount based on measured demand will be: 22 cents per kw for first 100 kw of Demand, and 11 cents per kw for all additional kws of Demand Minimum Net: $1.20 plus $1.20 for each kw of Demand over 5 kw, but not less than $3.60 for three phase service. The maximum wattage of any heating unit or the wattage of any group of such units controlled by a single thermostat, all of which may be energized at the same time, shall not exceed 5 kw. Dal Stiver, Box Elder county coordinator for the aging program, attended. Sessions were conducted on various management problems, organizational structures, positive planning actions and public relation needs for publicizing such government services. Staff members of the Utah Division of Aging and members of the Utah State University faculty conducted the seminar. Stiver reported many interesting facets of the aging program and its objectives in the state were very educational and might be applicable in our county. 11-1- that each lamp will be a 175 watt mdrcury vapor lamp with a nominal rating of 7,000 initial lumens and will be mounted on an existing pole or on a 30 foot wood pole with a mast arm bracket not exceeding 4 feet in length. The type and kind of fixtures and supports will be in accordance with the citys specifications. Service includes energy supplied from the citys overhead circuits, maintenance and lamp and glassware renewals. Lamps will be controlled by the city to burn each night from dusk to dawn. The contrast period will be for five years or longer.
