Neil came especially to conduct a workshop at Brigham Young university in Provo for the dance department. He will also spend Thanksgiving with Mrs. Venna Hess at the Myrl Perrys in Deweyville. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Pierson and family of Sparks, Nev. have to the arrived spend Thanksgiving holidays visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Pierson. They will also spend sometime with Bishop and Mrs. Virgil Francom in Tremonton. The Pinochle club met with as Mrs. Annie Thompson Mr. and Mrs. M. Rex Jensen on Thanksgiving Day will be Mr. and Mrs. Don Vanderbeek, Mrs. Ruth Vanderbeek, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen and children Tara and Troy, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Jensen of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jensen and children Stephen, Janette, Ryan and Matt of Garland. Mr. and Mrs. Max Flinders and son Lane are spending a few days at the Glade Timothy home. Mrs. Timothy underwent dinner with Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Dell Holmgren in Bear River City will be Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bishop of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Barrett and children Jody, Dee, Sheri and Julie Ann of Hyde Park, Mr. and Mrs. James Bishop and children Kevin, Wayne, Nathan and Dan, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bishop and daughters Stephanie and Brittney of Kaysville. At Jensens Dinner guests at the home of major surgery at the Valley hospital in Tremonton Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Godfrey accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lestern Wheatley of Tremonton attended a testimonial in the Curlew Ward chapel in Snowville Sunday evening honoring Elder Bruce Larkin who is leaving to fulfill an LDS mission in Pennslyvania. A Thanksgiving dinner party will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Godfrey. At- tending will be Janet Scothern of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Anderson and family of Weston, Mr. and Mrs. Veldon Goodey and family of Clarkston, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Godfrey of East Garland, Lisa McDonald of Salt Lake City. with Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Archibald in Bountiful. They will also visit Mr. and Mrs. Thirl Christensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jensen and family in Bountiful. Fun Day Mrs. Zina Marriott accompanied by Mrs. Dorothy Taylor of Brigham City and Mrs. Arlene of Hales Tremonton enjoyed a fun day in Logan Saturday. Visiting Jack Elmer Sunday were his and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Birks and family of Woods Cross. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott enjoyed ice cream and cake with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hales and family in Tremonton . son-in-la- Sunday. The occasion was little Scott Hales fourth birthday anniversary. Thanksgiving Enjoying dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott will be Mr. and Mrs. Karl Marriott and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Taylor and family of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Mason and family of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hansen and of daughter Camie Lee Tremonton. The Garland Bridge club met at the community center in the basement of the Garland library Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Dessie Campbell as hostess. Following a delicious luncheon, bridge was played with prizes going to Mrs. Fern Huish, Mrs. Hattie Hodge and Mrs. Florence Garn. hostess Wednesday evening. Mrs. Dona Bowcutt was a special guest. Members were also pleased to have Mrs. Dona Chiodo of Chugizk, Alaska with them. Prizes went to Mrs. Madge Homer, Mrs. Dona Bowcutt and Mrs. Kitty Minson. Dainty light refreshments were served. Visiting Mr, and Mrs. W. Lee Thompson Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Standing who have recently moved from Denver to Ogden. Mrs. Standing and Mrs. Thompson are sisters. M. B. Johnson is recuperating at the McKay hospital in Ogden following surgery. Miss Vergalee Anderson who is employed in Portland, Me. doing fashion and modeling spent two weeks in Florida and the Bahamas before coming home by plane to spend the holidays visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Leedrow Anderson. Friday Mrs. Jennie Gephart and Mrs. Hazel Rose visited Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose and family and Mr. and Mrs. DeLos Thompson in Brigham City afterwhich they enjoyed lunch at the Idle Isle Cafe. Dinner for Several Enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mrs. Hazel Rose will be Mr. and Mrs. Jess Buttars of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Blau, Maurie and Camilla of Roy, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose and daughter Lori and son Ryan of Brigham City, and Mrs. Michael Hewett and son Brandon of Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee Thompson attended an open house honoring Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Griffin held in the cultural hall at the Clarkston Ward building Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Griffin were observing their golden wedding an' niversary. " Marvin Ashby has returned home after undergoing major surgery in the Logan hospital. He is reported to be getting along nicely.
