Mrs. Ted (Karen) Rust of Bancroft, Idaho visited with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris visited at Ogden Saturday with Mrs. Morris mother, Mrs. Pearl Hawks and with Mr. and Mrs. Craig Morris and daughter and with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Callister and family. Mr. and Mrs. Chester P. Neal were weekend guests of their and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Wiser at their new home in Eden, Idaho. of Mrs. Don Forsgren Thatcher, Idaho brought her mother, Mrs. Ralph Howell to her home from the LDS hospital in Logan Saturday after being treated for the past week. County Commissioner and Mrs. Reed Nielsen attended a dinner party at Maddox Ranch House Wednesday in honor of Dick Rock, who was retiring after 38 years as roads commissioner. Brad Gibbs and Julee Hawks, USU students spent the weekend at their homes here. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yarman and daughters of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morris of Garland visited with, their parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris Saturday. Guest of Honor Reed Nielsen was the guest of honor on his birthday anniversary Friday evening at a dinner party at the Golden Spike Cafe in Corinne by members of his family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Nielsen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen and Mrs. Nielsen of Portage, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cannon and family of North Ogden. The meeting, under the 100 direction of U. S. Jaycee Director Maurice Stacey, saw leaders from all Northern Utah Jaycee chapters in attendance. Two Brigham City Jaycee leaders were recognized during the conference for outstanding service. Mike Perry Jaycee state director, was presented the Presidential award for his efforts in recruiting new Jaycee members. Stephen Studdert, Brigham City Jaycee president, was recognized by Utah Jaycee President Don Cavalli as the outstanding local president for the third quarter, and was presented a plaque. Speakers included John Shireman of Kansas City, Mo., U. S. Jaycee vice president, and Doug Wold of Poulson, Mont., pact president of the Montana Jaycees. The Brigham City Jaycees have been undergoing a period of rejunivation, and were recently responsible for the city-wid- e Pitch-I- n program, among others. They are also sponsoring the establishment of a Bear River Valley Jaycee chapter for the western Box Elder county area.
