JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah Thursday, October 30, 1975 Visiting ard Calderwood w Harris return Sunday by Flo Munson Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris returned home Sunday by plane from an enjoyable week vacation in Chicago where they attended meetings of the American Prosthodontic society held in the Congress hotel. While there they were guests of Mrs. Paul Pavlik. They also attended a dinner party hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Rahn. Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Horsley of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Grace Dodd of Clearfield. A neighborhood party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. G. Melvin Foxlev at their home Thursday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wilson prior to their leaving to fulfill a LDS Mission in New York City. A lovely dinner was served. Spending the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davis were their daughters Jayna and Jill Davis of Provo. Visiting Dr. and Mrs. D. B. Green Friday was their daughter Mrs. Sid Garrett of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Loretta Hansen graciously entertained members of the Literary guild at her home Tuesday evening. Mrs. Leah Deakin gave an entertaining story of the Python by William Braden. A dainty light luncheon was served. Visiting Mrs. Marge Oyler last week were Mrs. John Oyler and son Creighton of Altadena, Calif. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Holmgren in Bear River City. Doug Morrison, Carol Miller, Don Morrison, students at Brigham Young university in Provo and Diane Jensen, enrolled at Utah State university in Logan visited Mrs. Vernell Morrison during the weekend. Mrs. Helen Boulton. A delicious luncheon was enjoyed. The remainder of the evening was spent doing handiwork. Saturday evening Mrs. Isabel Walton, Mrs. Wanda Giles and Mrs. Gladys Bennett attended the Hawaiian luau held in the Sage Walnut room at the Utah State university in Logan. Weekend Guests Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wheatley was their son Alan Wheatley who is enrolled at the University of Utah and Carla John of Brigham City. Joining them for Sunday dinner were Dr. and Mrs. Kim Wheatley and daughter Nicole in New York City. 2 The London office director spent two years in England during the late 1940s serving a LDS Mission. He is a graduate of Brigham Young university and received a masters degree from the University of Utah. He earned his doctorate in communications at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Rytting has been a pro- of Ogden. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Bunnell Wednesday were General and Mrs. Chestley G. Peterson of Ogden. General Peterson was a former Future Farmer student of LeRoy Bunnell when he was on the faculty at the Payson High school. Chestley joined the British Royal Air Force at the beginning of World War II when he was too young to join the US Air Force. He distinguished himself as a great ace in the RAF. He later transfered to the US Air Force.
